Dear Diary, This has been a most wonderful day. We attended the Rock Creek Ward with Dora, Daisy, and Maggie. It's a Ward all the temple workers attend. I thoroughly enjoyed all the meetings especially the cultural Refinement lesson in Relief So. We had lunch then we all visited. The girls called a couple who used to be a district worker in our area, an Elder and Sis Barnhill who knew Arcola, Heber's cousin. This has been such a thrilling experience. We talked with Pres and Sis Richards, he's temple Pres.

Dear Diary, We have had a great day. Dora, Maggie and Daisy didn't work today in the temple so we had a good time visiting together. Maggie took me up to the 5th floor to meet an old lady. She was very interesting to talk to. Then we walked over to an antique village. We saw lots of unusual things. Johnnie had to work again at the Pentagon. We had a very interesting visit on the street with a Bro. Johnson from Monroe. We knew his father, he and his wife also work at the temple.

Dear Diary, I can say we are really enjoying being in Wash DC and thoroughly enjoying working at the temple. We got out last session tonight. Johnnie, Sue, Heber and I went back after supper. Heber and I worked all day, ate lunch there, the two of us have gotten 22 endowments. Daisy, Sue and I went to the book store. I bought 3 cassette tapes and the book "The Celestial Connections" by Connie Rector.

Dear Diary, It's been another good day. We got 4 sessions today. We got there a little earlier, we ate at the temple then went to the distribution center and I bought 2 pr of cotton garments then we went to the visitors center and I bought 2 temple pictures. We came back to the apt and Daisy & Maggie had a nice dinner then Johnnie came from work at the Pentagon so we went back to the temple with he and Sue, another wonderful day.

Dear Diary, We have had a really good day at the temple. Heber and I got three endowments today. We didn't get there til 11am. We've had a nice supper here with Dora, Daisy, Maggie, Gertude and Parley Cuthens. Johnnie and Sue went out a while. A nice neighbor came in and visited a while. It was great seeing Bro and Sis Love and Sis and Sis Van Walsen. I can't believe so few people were here at the temple today. Some sessions had only 6 and 7 people, but its wonderful.

Dear Diary, We have had a wonderful day. We left home at 3:30 am and have had a good day riding along playing Book of Mormon tapes. Sue and I had a nap on the bed we brought along. We left Audrey with Johnnie and Sue's children. We got here to Dora, Daisy's and Maggie's apt after 7pm. We have sure enjoyed visiting with them. We are planning to go to the temple tomorrow and redeem the dead. We have just had prayer.

Dear Diary, We have had a very interesting day. We have been getting ready to leave in the morning for Washington DC. We have washed and ironed all day trying to leave all the children's clothes in good shape, Audrey will be staying here with Johnnie's children, we sure hope and pray all is well with them. I baked Audrey a b'day cake and tonight we had a party for her, her b'day isn't til day after tomorrow. I sure wish I could hear from Neva. She was in the hospital this morn.
